A Gold Medalist in MBBS and an MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology, she has further specialized through prestigious fellowships in Maternal Fetal Medicine from Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF), London (UK), and from George-Town University (Washington DC, USA).
She has served as Professor, Head of Unit (ObGyn), and Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine at AIIMS, Delhi, playing a pivotal role in establishing Fetal Medicine as a specialized discipline in India, since last 4 decades.
